Check the Ewes section for pictures of all these sheep!
Massena's Gretta: (Pictured above) I have no pedigree or background information on this ewe. I believe she is an older sheep. She has produced absolutely stunning ram lambs two years in a row (both of which we have sold). Gretta has short horns or scurs. She has a lot of guard hair in her coat. She's got an interesting coat pattern, with patches of darker and lighter wool and the long guard hairs. $100.
Gretta is currently boarded near Eugene, OR, so she is not available for immediate delivery.
Massena's Brenda: Brenda is my friendliest sheep. She will eagerly eat out of your hand, and even nibble on your fingers if she finds you've got nothing to feed her. She is a petite yearling ewe. She produced her first adorable tiny ram lamb, Nano, this year, and proved herself to be a very capable mother. She is horned, and has dark mahogany wool. I will be very picky about where Brenda goes, because she's kind of a pet to me. She is for sale because she is small, and our breeding goals are for the heftier sheep that are better for meat production. $175.
Santiam Valley Crystal: Crystal is two years old. She is a twin, so although she has produced single lambs her first two years, she has a high probability of twinning in the future. Crystal is a beautiful polled sheep with blonde wool, light features, and a medium-brown undercoat. The contrast between her winter wool and her summer coat is so strong she doesn't look like the same sheep in the winter and summer! Crystal is a good mother, and this year we came home on a snowy day to find her all cuddled up with her newborn ewe lamb, Lisa. The only reason we are willing to sell Crystal is because we are thinking about keeping Lisa and space considerations force us to limit the number of closely related sheep we keep. If we sell Lisa, Crystal will not be available. $250.
Discounts are available if you want to buy more than one sheep.

All sheep come with OFP certificates. Crystal is also registered with MNSBAR. All other sheep on our farm are spoken for. All our rams have breeding jobs this fall. If you are interested in borrowing or renting a ram for the 2009 breeding season, let me know!../Ewes.htmlhttp://openflockbook.com/cgi-bin/breeding.pl?op=breeding&index=733&gens=5&db=ofp.dbwhttp://openflockbook.com/cgi-bin/geneal.pl?op=tree&index=727&gens=5&db=ofp.dbwhttp://openflockbook.com/cgi-bin/geneal.pl?op=tree&index=1115&gens=5&db=ofp.dbwshapeimage_2_link_0shapeimage_2_link_1shapeimage_2_link_2shapeimage_2_link_3
